Mrs. Ramanamma, a resident of a poor rural household, is one of the successful beneficiaries of the SPEECH Dairy Development Program. Before joining the program, Ramanamma’s family was struggling financially and found it difficult to meet their daily household needs.
Recognizing her willingness to work hard and improve her family’s situation, SPEECH provided her with a buffalo under the Dairy Development Program. Ramanamma took great care of the animal and learned how to manage feeding, milking, and maintaining the health of the buffalo.
Within a short period, the buffalo began producing a good quantity of milk. Ramanamma started selling the milk in her village and nearby areas. This has helped her generate a regular and reliable source of income.
Today, Ramanamma is able to earn a steady monthly income, which supports her family’s needs such as food, children’s education, and household expenses. The dairy activity has brought financial stability and improved the overall well-being of her family.
Ramanamma expresses her sincere gratitude to SPEECH for providing her with this life-changing opportunity. She proudly says that the buffalo has become a valuable asset for her family and a symbol of hope for a better future.
